Why Sunflowers?
Ever since I was a little girl, some of my fondest memories were when my grandmother and I would plant sunflowers together. She always used to say, just like sunflowers need sunshine, "you are my sunshine". While visiting Buttonwood Farms' Sunflowers for Wishes event, I fell in love with their never ending fields of sunflowers displaying various shades of yellow. Sunflowers remind me of memories I want to cherish forever which is exactly what I want to display in my photography, memories we never want to forget.
